Mental Health and Substance Use Urgent Care Response Centre (UCRC) - Surrey/Delta

An urgent care response centre for adults (19 years and older) with urgent mental health and substance use concerns.
A central point of access for adults (19 years and older) in Surrey and Delta who are experiencing urgent mental health and substance use concerns and who voluntarily seek and require urgent care, but don’t require hospitalization. Clients must be unattached to other mental health services in FH. Services include:

  • Crisis stabilization
  • Assessment and psychiatric consultation
  • Treatment initiation
  • Connection to community-based services

  • Limitations:

  • Clients must be residents of Surrey or Delta, 19+ years of age, who either have an urgent mental health or substance use (MHSU) concern OR who do not have an urgent MHSU concern but require a psychiatric assessment.
  • Clients must be unattached to other mental health services in FH
  • Clients must be voluntarily seeking service.


  • The UCRC primarily serves Surrey residents, however, Delta residents may also access this service in the evenings and on weekends.
